Electric diffusers use heat, and sometimes a fan, to gently and quickly disperse aromatherapy oils into a room. They scent a larger area that our other diffusers and can more efficiently disperse thicker oils such as Sandalwood and Patchouli. Note: Heat may alter some of the constituents of the oils and thus reduce the therapeutic benefit.

Passive terracotta/clay diffusers are simple to use and very affordable. They are typically made of a porous material and can be placed in small areas like a car, office or bathroom. They require no electricity or clean up. Just put your favorite oil scent directly onto the disk or into the vessel. Perfect for places where you are want subtle aromatherapy. Since they use natural evaporation rather than a heat source they are safe to use unattended.

Lamp ring diffusers are great for lighted rooms. The heat from an incandescent light bulb warms the oil from below, diffusing the scent into the air. They are virtually invisible and great for small rooms.
